Show allAllSkin overview
Field-Tested Galil AR | Chromatic Aberration still shows its main idea: offset magenta stripes on a dark rifle with cyan line work on the magazine. Wear starts to appear on the raised parts and edges, which gives the bright paint a used look. The colour contrast is strong enough that the skin stays recognisable at a glance.
Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.
Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
Appearance in Field-Tested
The receiver carries hot magenta stripes laid over a dark base with a shifted, doubled outline that creates the chromatic aberration effect. The handguard and barrel stay dark grey and black with small white lettering on the ribbed section.
Scratches spread along the magazine edges, the handguard ribs and the top of the receiver. The magenta stripes get small chips, most noticeable on the bright areas. The white lettering starts to fade in places. At normal distance the design is fully recognisable, but the surface no longer looks new.
Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38
The float of Souvenir Galil AR | Chromatic Aberration ranges from 0 to 1; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 23% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
Souvenir Galil AR | Chromatic Aberration belongs to The Snakebite Collection, which holds 17 skins.
The source is Snakebite Case.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Stickers in magenta, pink, cyan or holographic tones match the neon accents of the finish. Black and white stickers fit the dark handguard and stock without competing with the stripes. Placing them on the dark parts keeps the receiver pattern visible.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since wear on this skin grows quickly on the bright magenta areas.
- Look at the magazine edges and line art, as they lose paint before the rest of the rifle.
- Inspect the top of the receiver where the stripes sit, because chips there are visible in first-person view.
- Check applied stickers and any name tag so they fit the neon colour scheme you want.
Who should buy Field-Tested
- Players who want the recognisable neon design for everyday matches.
- Buyers looking for a mid-range entry into the skin.
- Conclusion: the practical choice for play.
