Skin overview

Battle-Scarred is the roughest version of Galil AR | Tuxedo, where the white spray paint is worn through in large areas on the receiver and barrel. The upper half turns patchy, with bare metal mixing into what is left of the light coat. It suits players who want the cheapest entry into this finish or prefer a deliberately beaten-up look.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Solid Color: a single colour without a pattern; wear dulls it evenly and rubs it off along the edges.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The receiver, barrel, front sight, muzzle and top rail are painted a light, slightly warm white, giving the upper half of the rifle a pale, clean look. The handguard, magazine, pistol grip and stock are a dark matte tone, so the weapon is clearly split into light metal and dark furniture.

Large areas of white paint are gone from the receiver, barrel, rail and sights, leaving bare metal mixed with remnants of the light coat. The dark parts show clear wear on edges and raised areas. In game the rifle reads as a worn, mottled two-tone weapon rather than a clean black-and-white one. Only the more sheltered areas of the furniture keep a uniform finish.

Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.8

The whole float range of Souvenir Galil AR | Tuxedo is 0–0.8; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.8 segment (44% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

Souvenir Galil AR | Tuxedo belongs to The Bank Collection, which holds 16 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Monochrome stickers in black, white or silver keep the formal two-tone look intact. A single small sticker in red or gold works as an accent, like a detail on evening wear. Stickers placed on the dark handguard or magazine stand out more clearly than those on the white receiver.

What to look at before you buy

  • Look at where the float sits within the wear range, since a low float keeps the white paint noticeably cleaner.
  • Inspect the receiver edges, top rail, sights and muzzle, as the white paint chips there first.
  • The finish is a solid colour, so there is no pattern to hunt for and copies with similar floats look alike.
  • Check any applied stickers and name tag, because they change the clean two-tone look.

Who should buy Battle-Scarred

  • Budget buyers looking for the cheapest entry into this finish.
  • Players who deliberately prefer a heavily worn, mottled rifle.
  • In short: a rough, low-cost Tuxedo for play rather than display.
