Souvenir Glock-18 | Catacombs (Field-Tested)

Skin overview

Catacombs turns the Glock-18 slide into a field of stacked skulls over silver paint, framed by a plain grey lower half. In Field-Tested the edges of the slide begin to show bare metal and the print softens in places, which suits the grim theme of the skin. It is a practical middle choice: the motif remains easy to recognise in the player's hands.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The finish is concentrated on the slide, which carries a dense hydrographic of grey skulls over a silver metallic base, running from the muzzle to the rear sight. The frame, trigger guard and textured grip stay a plain muted grey, giving the pistol a two-tone look with a busy top and a calm lower half.

The muzzle area and the top edges of the slide show clear scuffs where the print has worn through to metal. Some skulls near the ejection port and rear serrations lose definition. In game the pattern still reads as skulls, with a slightly rubbed look along the outline of the slide. The flat sides of the slide keep most of their detail, and the grey frame stays tidy.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The whole float range of Souvenir Glock-18 | Catacombs is 0–0.5; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (46% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Chroma Collection with 14 skins in total.

The source is Chroma Case (on sale since Jan 8, 2015).

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Black, white, silver and grey stickers keep the monochrome skull theme intact, while a single red or deep green accent stands out well against the grey. The plain frame below the slide is the cleanest place for stickers, since it does not compete with the busy pattern.

What to check before buying

• Check where the float sits within the grade, since a lower value keeps the muzzle and slide edges cleaner.
• Look at the muzzle face and top edges of the slide in the inspect view, as these lose the print first.
• Check whether the copy is StatTrak™ or Souvenir, because both versions exist and are listed separately.
• Review applied stickers and the name tag, as they change the look of the plain grey frame.

Who the Field-Tested quality suits

• Players who want the motif clearly visible for everyday matches.
• Fans of a slightly rubbed look that suits the skull theme.
• A practical middle option for regular play.
