Show allAllSkin overview
This Glock-18 is defined by its grey skull pattern on a silver slide, a quiet, monochrome look rather than a bright one. In Minimal Wear the skulls still read clearly, and any marks are limited to small specks near the muzzle and slide edges. Because the palette is already muted and metallic, these specks are hard to spot, so the grade gives nearly the same view as Factory New.
Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
How the skin looks in Minimal Wear
The finish is concentrated on the slide, which carries a dense hydrographic of grey skulls over a silver metallic base, running from the muzzle to the rear sight. The frame, trigger guard and textured grip stay a plain muted grey, giving the pistol a two-tone look with a busy top and a calm lower half.
Small specks of wear can appear on the muzzle face and the front corners of the slide. The skulls on the sides and top stay sharp and fully readable. In game these marks blend into the silver and grey palette and are practically invisible. The frame and grip look the same as in Factory New.
Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15
The whole float range of Souvenir Glock-18 | Catacombs is 0–0.5; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (16% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The Chroma Collection with 14 skins in total.
It drops from Chroma Case (on sale since Jan 8, 2015).
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Black, white, silver and grey stickers keep the monochrome skull theme intact, while a single red or deep green accent stands out well against the grey. The plain frame below the slide is the cleanest place for stickers, since it does not compete with the busy pattern.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the grade, since a lower value keeps the muzzle and slide edges cleaner.
- Look at the muzzle face and top edges of the slide in the inspect view, as these lose the print first.
- Check whether the copy is StatTrak™ or Souvenir, because both versions exist and are listed separately.
- Review applied stickers and the name tag, as they change the look of the plain grey frame.
Who should buy Minimal Wear
- Players who want an almost clean look without paying for the top grade.
- Sticker crafters, since small specks hide well in the grey palette.
- A sensible compromise between appearance and cost.
