Show allAllSkin overview
Clear Polymer shows the Glock-18 as a see-through pistol with a tan slide and a blue trigger. In Battle-Scarred the slide is heavily rubbed and the clear frame is scratched and dulled, yet the layout and the blue accents remain recognisable. It is the cheapest way into the design, with a rough, heavily used look.
Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred
The slide is painted a solid tan-brown with darker rear serrations, and the muzzle opening shows a blue inner ring. The frame, including the dust cover, trigger guard and grip, is made of clear polymer that reveals the internal rail and the cartridges stacked in the magazine.
Battle-Scarred leaves the slide heavily stripped, with wide worn areas at the muzzle, the front edge and the top surface. The clear frame is dull and covered in scratches, and the grip texture looks rough and hazy. The blue parts are chipped and faded at the edges. From normal distance the pistol still reads as a tan-and-clear Glock-18, but the glassy look is gone.
Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–1
The whole float range of Souvenir Glock-18 | Clear Polymer is 0–1; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–1 segment (55% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
Souvenir Glock-18 | Clear Polymer belongs to The Snakebite Collection, which holds 17 skins.
The source is Snakebite Case.
What it costs in each quality
Among 10 skins of the Glock-18 in the Mil-Spec Grade grade and this quality, this skin ranks 4th by price, counting from the dearest.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Blue stickers echo the trigger and controls, while tan, brown or gold ones blend with the slide. Clear or holographic stickers fit the see-through theme of the frame. Placing them on the slide keeps the transparent grip and its cartridges in view.
What to check before buying
- Check the float position within the grade, since lower values keep the clear frame glassier and the slide edges cleaner.
- Look at the muzzle and the front edge of the slide, which lose paint first.
- On worn copies inspect the grip, because haze there hides the cartridges that define the design.
- Check any applied stickers and name tag to make sure they suit the tan and blue scheme.
Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits
- Budget entry for players who want the Clear Polymer design at the lowest cost.
- Fans of a rough, battle-used look on their starting pistol.
- The cheapest way to own the skin, if a dull frame is acceptable.
