Show allAllSkin overview
This Glock-18 skin is built around one idea: a clear frame that shows what is inside. At Minimal Wear it looks almost the same as a fresh copy, with only faint marks that are hard to notice during a round. It is the grade for buyers who want the clean see-through effect without paying for a perfect finish.
Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
Appearance in Minimal Wear
The slide is painted a solid tan-brown with darker rear serrations, and the muzzle opening shows a blue inner ring. The frame, including the dust cover, trigger guard and grip, is made of clear polymer that reveals the internal rail and the cartridges stacked in the magazine.
Minimal Wear adds only light marks, usually tiny specks on the front edge of the slide and around the muzzle. The clear frame keeps almost all of its transparency and the blue parts stay intact. At normal distance in game it is hard to tell apart from Factory New. The grip, trigger guard and magazine look clean.
Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15
The whole float range of Souvenir Glock-18 | Clear Polymer is 0–1; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (8% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Origin of the skin
Souvenir Glock-18 | Clear Polymer belongs to The Snakebite Collection, which holds 17 skins.
It drops from Snakebite Case.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Blue stickers echo the trigger and controls, while tan, brown or gold ones blend with the slide. Clear or holographic stickers fit the see-through theme of the frame. Placing them on the slide keeps the transparent grip and its cartridges in view.
What to look at before you buy
- Check the float position within the grade, since lower values keep the clear frame glassier and the slide edges cleaner.
- Look at the muzzle and the front edge of the slide, which lose paint first.
- On worn copies inspect the grip, because haze there hides the cartridges that define the design.
- Check any applied stickers and name tag to make sure they suit the tan and blue scheme.
Who the Minimal Wear quality suits
- Players who want a near-perfect look and accept marks they will hardly see in game.
- Sticker crafters looking for a clean base without paying for a flawless one.
- A sensible balance between appearance and cost.
