Show allAllSkin overview
Death Rattle puts a dark brown snakeskin pattern with lighter scale patches on the Glock-18. In Battle-Scarred the finish is worn on the edges, front of the slide and grip, yet the float range of this skin stops early in this grade, so the pattern does not fade out completely. The result is a rough but still recognisable reptile finish.
Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.
Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.
How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred
The slide, frame and grip are covered in a continuous snakeskin hydrographic: a dense pattern of small scales in dark brown with large irregular tan blotches. On the slide the blotches run along the top and sides, while the grip shows the lighter patches most clearly.
Battle-Scarred has the heaviest wear: worn edges across the slide and frame, scratched grip edges and a rubbed trigger guard. Because the skin's range ends early in this grade, the pattern still covers most of the surfaces. In game it looks dusty and rough but clearly snakeskin. The central parts of the slide sides hold the most colour.
Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–0.5
The whole float range of Souvenir Glock-18 | Death Rattle is 0.08–0.5; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.5 segment (12% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
Souvenir Glock-18 | Death Rattle belongs to The Bank Collection, which holds 16 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
What it costs in each quality
Among 6 skins of the Glock-18 in the Industrial Grade grade and this quality, this skin is the dearest.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Brown, gold, beige and muted green stickers blend with the earthy snakeskin finish. Matte or paper stickers on the slide keep the natural look, while a single bright gold sticker can work as an accent.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since copies near the cleaner end look noticeably fresher.
- Look at the front edge of the slide and the trigger guard, as these lose paint first.
- Compare how the tan blotches fall on the slide and grip, because placement differs between copies.
- Souvenir copies come with preset stickers, so check whether they suit you before buying.
Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits
- Budget entry players who want any Death Rattle on their Glock-18.
- Fans of rough, worn finishes that still keep the pattern.
- The cheapest entry that still looks like snakeskin.
