Skin overview

The Death Rattle finish is a muted, earthy snakeskin pattern that wraps the slide, frame and grip of the Glock-18. Field-Tested copies keep the overall reptile look, while the edges start showing light scuffs. The natural brown tones hide this wear well, so the pistol still looks coherent.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

Other qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The slide, frame and grip are covered in a continuous snakeskin hydrographic: a dense pattern of small scales in dark brown with large irregular tan blotches. On the slide the blotches run along the top and sides, while the grip shows the lighter patches most clearly.

Field-Tested adds visible scuffs on the slide edges, the front of the slide and the trigger guard. Lower floats in this grade look close to Minimal Wear, higher ones show more scratching on the grip edges. In game the brown pattern masks most of the wear. The sides of the slide and the centre of the grip still look intact.
