Skin overview

This Phase 2 Gamma Doppler on the Glock-18 is recognised by its green slide with smoky dark veins and a contrasting light grey frame. In Minimal Wear the coat keeps its depth and gloss, and any marks are tiny and limited to the sharpest edges. It looks practically the same as Factory New in hand while costing a step less.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The finish is concentrated on the slide, which carries a deep emerald candy coat over black and silver marbling, with darker cloud-like patches and occasional teal highlights. The muzzle end of the slide shows a lighter, silvery metallic tone around the barrel opening.

Small specks of wear may appear on the sharpest slide edges and near the muzzle. They are visible only on close inspection of the model. At normal play distance the gloss and colour read the same as Factory New. The top surface of the slide and the frame stay clean.

Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15

The whole float range of Souvenir Glock-18 | Gamma Doppler Phase 2 is 0–0.5; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (16% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

Souvenir Glock-18 | Gamma Doppler Phase 2 belongs to The 2021 Train Collection, which holds 17 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Holo and foil stickers in green, teal or silver tones pick up the candy coat and the metallic marbling. Placements on the grey frame contrast well with the slide and keep the green area uncovered. Black or white sticker accents match the dark marbling and the light polymer without competing with the main colour.

What to look at before you buy

  • Look at the slide edges and muzzle end in the inspect view, since the coat wears there first.
  • Compare the amount and placement of dark marbling between copies, as Phase 2 slides differ in how much bright green shows.
  • Check the float position within the grade, especially in Minimal Wear and Field-Tested, where a low float keeps the slide noticeably cleaner.
  • Check whether the offer is a Souvenir copy and whether it carries stickers or a name tag you actually want.

Who the Minimal Wear quality suits

  • Players who want a Factory New look in game while spending a step less.
  • Buyers who do not mind tiny edge marks visible only on close inspection.
  • Conclusion: the sensible choice for a near-pristine green slide.
