Show allAllSkin overview
The silver mockingbird and yellow sweep of this Glock-18 finish give it a distinctive silhouette that survives heavy wear. Battle-Scarred copies have worn edges, bare metal on raised parts and a patchy ornament, which gives the pistol a rough, used look. The float range of this skin stops well short of the maximum, so even the most worn copies keep a fair share of paint.
Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.
Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.
How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred
The slide is khaki with a grey floral ornament, a yellow checker block near the muzzle and green panels with a checker strip at the rear, where the silver mockingbird sits over the green. A wide yellow stripe curves from the front of the slide across the frame and down into the grip, which is filled with a yellow halftone dot pattern.
Bare metal shows on all edges and raised parts: the muzzle, slide corners, serrations, trigger guard and the grip base. The ornament is patchy across the slide, the checker blocks are partly gone and the halftone dots on the grip are broken up. In game the pistol reads as rough and heavily used, with the yellow arc still giving it a recognisable shape. Because the float range is capped well below the maximum, larger flat areas keep their colours.
Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.67
The float of Souvenir Glock-18 | Glockingbird ranges from 0 to 0.67; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–0.67 — 33% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
The skin’s collection is The Boreal Collection with 29 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Stickers in yellow, green, gold or muted khaki tones blend with the artwork without fighting the ornament. The flat khaki area of the slide between the yellow stripe and the green panel is a natural spot, while covering the mockingbird at the rear hides the key motif.
What to check before buying
- Look at the float position within the grade, since the muzzle and slide corners show the difference first.
- Inspect the rear of the slide to see how intact the silver mockingbird is on worn copies.
- Check the bottom of the grip and the trigger guard, which lose paint early on this finish.
- If you consider a Souvenir copy, make sure its preset stickers suit the yellow and green artwork.
Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits
- Players who enjoy a rough, heavily used pistol aesthetic.
- Budget buyers, since the capped float range keeps a fair share of paint.
- The pick for character over cleanliness.
