Skin overview

Glockingbird relies on strong colour blocks — khaki, green and yellow — so the pistol keeps its identity even as paint comes off. In Well-Worn the slide edges, muzzle and lower grip show clear bare patches, and the fine ornament starts to break up. The bold yellow arc remains the most visible part of the design.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Well-Worn

The slide is khaki with a grey floral ornament, a yellow checker block near the muzzle and green panels with a checker strip at the rear, where the silver mockingbird sits over the green. A wide yellow stripe curves from the front of the slide across the frame and down into the grip, which is filled with a yellow halftone dot pattern.

Edges of the slide, the muzzle and the trigger guard show wide bare patches, and wear spreads onto the lower grip and the front strap. The grey ornament on the slide sides breaks up and parts of the green panels lose detail. In game the pistol looks clearly used, though the yellow stripe and the general layout stay recognisable. The flat central parts of the slide and frame are the cleanest areas left.

Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45

The whole float range of Souvenir Glock-18 | Glockingbird is 0–0.67; Well-Worn takes the 0.38–0.45 segment (10% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Boreal Collection with 29 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Stickers in yellow, green, gold or muted khaki tones blend with the artwork without fighting the ornament. The flat khaki area of the slide between the yellow stripe and the green panel is a natural spot, while covering the mockingbird at the rear hides the key motif.

What to check before buying

• Look at the float position within the grade, since the muzzle and slide corners show the difference first.
• Inspect the rear of the slide to see how intact the silver mockingbird is on worn copies.
• Check the bottom of the grip and the trigger guard, which lose paint early on this finish.
• If you consider a Souvenir copy, make sure its preset stickers suit the yellow and green artwork.
