Skin overview

Royal Legion combines engraved gunmetal with a bright orange-red frame, and in Battle-Scarred that combination turns rough and weathered. Large areas of the orange are chipped away and the slide is heavily scuffed, giving the pistol a battered, old-weapon look. It suits buyers who like a worn character more than a showroom finish.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The slide is dark gunmetal covered with dense engraved scrollwork and floral ornament, while the rear serrations stay plain and the muzzle end is left in bright bare metal. The frame is painted a deep orange-red, with small engraved lettering along the dust cover and side.

Large areas of the orange are gone from the frame, especially on the edges, trigger guard, front strap and lower grip. The slide is heavily scratched and its engraving is partly blurred. In game the pistol reads as rough and weathered rather than bright two-tone. The deeper engraved areas of the slide and parts of the grip panels keep some of the original look.

Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–1

The whole float range of Souvenir Glock-18 | Royal Legion is 0–1; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–1 segment (55% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Wildfire Collection with 16 skins in total.

The source is Operation Wildfire Case.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Gold, black and dark metallic stickers echo the engraved slide, while warm orange or red stickers blend with the frame. Placing stickers on the frame below the slide keeps the engraving uncovered.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the grade, since the frame edges and trigger guard show chipping sooner on higher values.
  • Look at the front strap of the grip and the area around the magazine well, the first places where the orange wears off.
  • Inspect the top and front edges of the slide for scratches that blur the engraving.
  • Make sure any applied stickers or name tag suit the orange and gunmetal scheme.

Who should buy Battle-Scarred

  • Players who enjoy a heavily weathered, old-weapon look.
  • Budget entry for anyone who wants the engraved slide at the lowest grade.
  • A pick for those who prefer character over a clean finish.
