Skin overview

Royal Legion is a gunsmith-style finish: classic engraving on the slide and a bold orange-red frame give the Glock-18 a decorated, hand-worked character. In Field-Tested the paint starts to thin on the frame edges and the slide picks up light scuffs, which adds a used, lived-in feel. The engraving and the colour split still read clearly from the first-person view.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The slide is dark gunmetal covered with dense engraved scrollwork and floral ornament, while the rear serrations stay plain and the muzzle end is left in bright bare metal. The frame is painted a deep orange-red, with small engraved lettering along the dust cover and side.

The paint thins and chips along the frame edges, the trigger guard and the front strap of the grip. The slide shows light scuffs on its top and front edges. In game the colour split and engraving still read clearly, with the wear visible mainly on close inspection. The grip side panels and the middle of the slide remain mostly clean.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The float of Souvenir Glock-18 | Royal Legion ranges from 0 to 1; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 23% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The Wildfire Collection with 16 skins in total.

The source is Operation Wildfire Case.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Gold, black and dark metallic stickers echo the engraved slide, while warm orange or red stickers blend with the frame. Placing stickers on the frame below the slide keeps the engraving uncovered.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the grade, since the frame edges and trigger guard show chipping sooner on higher values.
  • Look at the front strap of the grip and the area around the magazine well, the first places where the orange wears off.
  • Inspect the top and front edges of the slide for scratches that blur the engraving.
  • Make sure any applied stickers or name tag suit the orange and gunmetal scheme.

Who the Field-Tested quality suits

  • Players who want the recognisable two-tone engraved look for everyday use.
  • Buyers who like a lightly used, hand-worked feel.
  • A practical middle option for regular play.
