Show allAllSkin overview
Trace Lock uses a pale base, grey concentric circles and fine line work, which makes every scratch stand out. In Battle-Scarred large patches of dark metal break through on the slide, muzzle and grip edges, and the thin lines are partly lost. What remains is the general circular layout and the light-grey tone.
Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.
Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.
How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred
The slide is covered in a pale silver-grey base with a set of concentric grey circles centred near its rear, around the area of the logo. Thin dark lines with small circular nodes run along the slide and frame like a system diagram, joined by a faint pinkish holographic line along the slide.
Large areas of dark metal show on the slide top, muzzle, rear of the slide and the magazine. The fine line drawing and holographic line are partly gone, and the grip bands are scuffed. In game the gun looks grey and patchy rather than pale. Only the general ring layout and parts of the slide sides keep the original look.
Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.7
The whole float range of Souvenir Glock-18 | Trace Lock is 0–0.7; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.7 segment (36% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The Achroma Collection with 20 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
What it costs in each quality
Among 5 skins of the Glock-18 in the Restricted grade and this quality, this skin is the dearest.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Holographic, silver or white stickers sit well on the pale slide and continue the schematic theme. A small pink or magenta accent can echo the thin holographic line. Placing stickers away from the ring centre keeps the main motif visible.
What to look at before you buy
- Check the float position within the wear range, since scratches on the pale base are easy to see.
- Look at the slide edges, muzzle and magazine baseplate, which lose paint first.
- Make sure the rings and fine lines on the slide are not broken on the side you see in game.
- Check applied stickers and the name tag so they match the light grey palette.
Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits
- The cheapest entry to Glock-18 | Trace Lock.
- Players who prefer a heavily worn, grey and patchy finish.
- Conclusion: for those who value the price over the clean design.
