Skin overview

Trace Lock is recognisable by its light, cool palette and the rings centred near the rear of the slide. In Field-Tested the paint starts to break on the slide edges and muzzle, and darker metal shows through the pale base. The circles and grip bands still carry the design, but the clean schematic feel becomes rougher.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The slide is covered in a pale silver-grey base with a set of concentric grey circles centred near its rear, around the area of the logo. Thin dark lines with small circular nodes run along the slide and frame like a system diagram, joined by a faint pinkish holographic line along the slide.

Scratches become visible along the top edges of the slide, the muzzle and the rear of the slide, with dark metal showing through. The magazine baseplate and trigger guard pick up chips. In game the pale finish looks used but the rings remain readable. The centre of the slide sides and most of the grip stay mostly clean.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The whole float range of Souvenir Glock-18 | Trace Lock is 0–0.7; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (33% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Holographic, silver or white stickers sit well on the pale slide and continue the schematic theme. A small pink or magenta accent can echo the thin holographic line. Placing stickers away from the ring centre keeps the main motif visible.
