M249 | Downtown is a blue and pink arrow tag on the machine gun's body, with the barrel and stock left plain. Because the float range ends well before the maximum, Battle-Scarred copies are less ruined than on full-range skins: the paint is heavily chipped, yet the arrows remain legible on the larger panels. It is the cheapest way to get this artwork.

Item type: machinegun. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The receiver, handguard and the large box magazine are covered in overlapping blue arrows with bright pink outlines, dark navy contour lines and small white highlights. Purple tones appear around the front of the handguard and the sight area, blending into the blue.

Paint is heavily chipped across the receiver, handguard and magazine, with large grey patches along all edges and raised details. Since the float range stops early, the arrows on the main panels are still partly legible. In game the skin keeps its blue and pink colouring, but the graffiti looks rough and patchy.
