Show allAllSkin overview
This M4A1-S finish uses a black base with large red sections and white high-tech panels, a combination that stays legible even when the paint is tired. In Well-Worn the red and white areas show clear scuffing and dulling at the edges, giving the rifle a used, field look. The colour scheme is still obvious, only rougher.
Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
How the skin looks in Well-Worn
The suppressor is dark grey with a red section near its base carrying small white markings, and the barrel behind it is red up to the black ribbed handguard. The receiver is black with white and red panels and a small white emblem, while the carry handle has a thin red accent.
The suppressor and the magazine show broad scuffed areas where dark metal comes through. The white panels look dulled and chipped, and the red on the barrel and grip is worn at the edges. In game the rifle reads as clearly used, though the red-black-white split is still obvious. The central parts of the receiver and the stock keep most of their look.
Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45
The whole float range of Souvenir M4A1-S | Cyrex is 0–0.5; Well-Worn takes the 0.38–0.45 segment (14% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The Breakout Collection with 14 skins in total.
It drops from Operation Breakout Weapon Case (on sale since Jun 23, 2014).
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Stickers in red, white, black or holographic silver fit the Cyrex scheme best. Placements on the black parts of the receiver and the handguard read cleanly against the dark base without covering the red artwork.
What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within its wear grade, since lower values keep the suppressor and magazine noticeably cleaner.
- Inspect the suppressor and the bottom of the magazine first, as these parts show wear before the rest of the rifle.
- Look at applied stickers and their condition, because they can clash with the red and white panels.
- Decide whether you want a StatTrak™ or Souvenir version, as both exist for this skin.
Who should buy Well-Worn
- Budget buyers who want the Cyrex colours at a lower grade.
- Players who like a used, field look on their rifle.
- In short, an affordable way to carry the scheme.
