Skin overview

M4A1-S | Glitched Paint is recognisable by its pink, purple and cyan glitch pattern, even when much of it has worn away. In Battle-Scarred the paint survives mostly on flat surfaces, while edges, the suppressor and the handguard ribs show bare metal. It is the most affordable way to get this artwork, with the scuffs becoming part of the look.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.

Other qualities of this skin: Well-Worn.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The suppressor is painted in pink and magenta with a cyan band near its base, while the barrel, front sight and carry handle keep a plain dark olive metal tone. The ribbed handguard carries pink, blue and orange stripes that follow the ribs, and the receiver and magazine are covered in mottled pink, purple and teal smears.

Most raised parts are worn to bare metal: the suppressor shows large exposed areas, and the handguard ribs keep only traces of the stripes. The magazine, receiver edges and stock are heavily scuffed. In game the pink and blue palette survives as patches rather than a continuous pattern. Only the flattest areas still hold solid colour.

Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–0.67

The float of Souvenir M4A1-S | Glitched Paint ranges from 0 to 0.67; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–0.67 — 33% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

Souvenir M4A1-S | Glitched Paint belongs to The Radiant Collection, which holds 28 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Price by quality

Compared with the Battle-Scarred quality, the others go like this:

The comparison uses our cheapest listing of each quality; where there is none, the market reference.

Among 5 skins of the M4A1-S in the Restricted grade and this quality, this skin ranks 3rd by price, counting from the dearest.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Holographic and foil stickers in pink, violet or cyan blend with the glitch palette, especially on the receiver and magazine. Orange accents work as a contrast that echoes the warm streaks on the handguard. Dark or muted stickers tend to look out of place against the bright pattern.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since a low float in a worn grade keeps noticeably more paint.
  • Look at the suppressor tip and handguard ribs first, as these lose colour before anything else.
  • Inspect the magazine edges and stock corners on Field-Tested and more worn copies.
  • Confirm whether the copy is a regular or Souvenir version and review any stickers or name tag.

Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits

  • Budget players who want the most affordable entry to this skin.
  • Fans of heavily worn finishes where bare metal shapes the look.
  • The cheapest way to carry the pattern, with scuffs as part of the style.
