Souvenir M4A1-S | Golden Coil (Field-Tested)

Skin overview

Golden Coil pairs a black-and-gold snake motif on the body with a bright scaled silencer that dominates the view from first person. In Field-Tested the gold starts to break on edges and raised parts, giving the rifle a used, less polished look. The snake and the overall colour scheme remain clearly recognisable.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The receiver is dark, almost black, with a gold snake coiling across its side and the head placed near the magazine well. The silencer is fully covered in an orange-gold scale texture, and the same scaled gold continues on the pistol grip and the stock, which has dark accents.

Wear spreads along the silencer, front sight, carry handle and magazine base, where the gold breaks into scratches. The scale texture on the silencer becomes patchy at the edges. In game the silencer shows the wear most, while the snake on the receiver still reads well. The grip and the middle of the stock stay largely clean.

Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.38

The whole float range of Souvenir M4A1-S | Golden Coil is 0–1; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (23% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Gold, holo-gold and black stickers match the snake artwork, while orange or amber tones blend with the silencer and stock. Placing stickers on the dark receiver keeps them readable without covering the snake's head.

What to check before buying

• Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since a low float keeps the silencer gold noticeably cleaner.
• Inspect the silencer tip, carry handle and front sight, as these parts lose gold first.
• Look at applied stickers and their scrape level, because they change how the receiver reads.
• Check for a name tag and StatTrak™ or Souvenir versions if they matter to you.

Who the Field-Tested quality suits

• Players who want the snake design for everyday matches.
• Buyers looking for a mid-range entry into this Covert finish.
• A practical option where the design still reads clearly.
