Souvenir M4A1-S | Liquidation (Battle-Scarred)

Skin overview

Liquidation pairs a dark body with red and blue highlights meant to imitate ambient glow. In Battle-Scarred much of that edge lighting is broken, and the worn areas expose bare metal on the most prominent parts. It is the cheapest way to own the skin, and it suits players who like a heavily used look.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The whole rifle is painted in a dark blue-black tone, with red and blue highlights running along the edges and contours as if lit from two sides. The ribbed handguard shifts toward violet-blue, while the receiver, carry handle and front sight are outlined with thin red and blue lines.

Large parts of the coloured outlines are gone, and bare metal shows on the carry handle, magazine, handguard and stock edges. The dark base is heavily scuffed across the receiver. In game the glow effect is largely lost and the rifle reads as dark and battered. Only recessed areas keep traces of the original colours.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Stickers in red, blue or dark holo tones match the two-colour lighting of the finish. Placements on the receiver side work best when they sit on the dark flat area and leave the coloured outlines visible.

What to look at before you buy

• Look at the float within the chosen wear, because the edge highlights are what wears first and define the look of this skin.
• Inspect the carry handle, handguard ribs and magazine bottom in the inspect view to see how much of the red and blue trim is left.
• Check whether the copy is StatTrak™ or Souvenir and whether it already has stickers or a name tag.
• Make sure any applied stickers do not cover the receiver outlines if you value the glow effect.

Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits

• Entry-level buyers who want Liquidation at the lowest cost.
• Players who prefer a dark, battered rifle over a bright one.
• In short: the cheapest entry, with most of the coloured lighting gone.
