Skin overview

The rifle keeps its dark body and the red-blue edge lighting that gives Liquidation its glowing look. Minimal Wear may show tiny marks on the outermost edges, but they sit inside the same highlights and are hard to spot in first-person view. It offers nearly the full look of the cleanest grade at a more modest step.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The whole rifle is painted in a dark blue-black tone, with red and blue highlights running along the edges and contours as if lit from two sides. The ribbed handguard shifts toward violet-blue, while the receiver, carry handle and front sight are outlined with thin red and blue lines.

Small specks may appear on the sharpest edges, such as the carry handle and the magazine bottom. The coloured lines remain continuous to the eye. At normal distance the rifle is practically indistinguishable from Factory New. The handguard, receiver and stock surfaces stay clean.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15

The whole float range of Souvenir M4A1-S | Liquidation is 0–1; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (8% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Stickers in red, blue or dark holo tones match the two-colour lighting of the finish. Placements on the receiver side work best when they sit on the dark flat area and leave the coloured outlines visible.

What to look at before you buy

• Look at the float within the chosen wear, because the edge highlights are what wears first and define the look of this skin.
• Inspect the carry handle, handguard ribs and magazine bottom in the inspect view to see how much of the red and blue trim is left.
• Check whether the copy is StatTrak™ or Souvenir and whether it already has stickers or a name tag.
• Make sure any applied stickers do not cover the receiver outlines if you value the glow effect.
