Skin overview

In Battle-Scarred, much of the white paint has worn away and the M4A4 | Asiimov turns noticeably darker, with orange stripes surviving between grey and black areas. Some players choose this grade for exactly that rougher, darker version of the design. It is a different look, not just a dirtier copy of the clean one.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The receiver and handguard are painted white, crossed by orange bands near the barrel nut and over the upper receiver, with dark grey and black sections breaking up the surfaces. The magazine is white with an orange lower edge and small black and orange triangle markings, and the same triangle motif appears on the receiver and the stock.

Most of the white paint on the magazine, handguard and stock is gone, replaced by grey and dark metal. The receiver is heavily scuffed, and the orange stripes show wear on their edges but remain the brightest part of the finish. From the first-person view the rifle looks predominantly dark with orange accents. The grip, already dark grey, changes the least.

The whole float range of Souvenir M4A4 | Asiimov is 0.18–1; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–1 segment (67% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Orange, black and white stickers match the scheme best, as do holo or foil stickers in those tones. Placements on the white handguard and receiver panels stand out most clearly on cleaner copies. On darker Battle-Scarred copies, bright orange or white stickers keep contrast.

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since low and high copies of the same grade look different on the white panels.
• Inspect the magazine and the handguard first, as the white paint wears there before anywhere else.
• Look at applied stickers and the name tag, which affect how the rifle reads and may not suit your taste.
