Souvenir M4A4 | Desolate Space (Field-Tested)

Skin overview

The central motif of Desolate Space is the gold astronaut helmet on the receiver, framed by cyan smoke that gives the rifle a cold, eerie glow. In Field-Tested the helmet and the main colour blocks are still clearly readable, while edges and protruding parts start to show scuffs. It is a balanced grade for players who want the recognisable artwork in hand without paying for a clean finish.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The rifle is painted in a purple and magenta base, with the front sight, barrel tip, carry handle and the end of the stock picked out in lavender. The receiver carries the main image, a gold astronaut helmet with a skull visible through the visor, set against cyan and turquoise smoke that flows along the handguard and down to the magazine well.

Scuffs become visible on the handguard edges, the carry handle, the front sight and the lower part of the magazine. The thinner cyan lines on the handguard start to look patchy in places. The gold helmet on the receiver usually stays readable, with light wear around its outline. At normal distance the rifle still shows its full colour scheme clearly.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The whole float range of Souvenir M4A4 | Desolate Space is 0–1; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (23% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Stickers in purple, cyan, holographic or gold tones match the palette of this M4A4. Placements along the handguard blend into the glowing smoke, while keeping the receiver area free leaves the astronaut helmet visible.

What to check before buying

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since higher values show more scuffs on the handguard and magazine.
• Inspect the gold astronaut helmet on the receiver, as it is the focal point of the artwork.
• Look at the edges of the handguard, the carry handle and the front sight, which lose paint first.
• Review applied stickers and any name tag to make sure they suit your taste, because they cannot be moved.

Who the Field-Tested quality suits

• Players who want the recognisable helmet and colours for everyday use.
• Buyers looking for a balance between appearance and spending.
• Conclusion: a sensible middle grade for regular play.
