Skin overview

This M4A4 finish is built from navy, grey and white camouflage patches crossed by thin orange lines. Well-Worn copies have noticeable chipping on raised parts and edges, and the orange detail loses some of its brightness where the paint is thinned. The rifle keeps a used, field-service look rather than a showroom one.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Well-Worn

The handguard, receiver and lower part of the rifle are covered in a dark navy camouflage broken by grey and white patches, with thin orange-yellow lines running across them like cracks. The magazine and pistol grip use a lighter grey-brown base with the same orange veins and small camo spots.

Wear spreads from the edges onto flat surfaces of the magazine and handguard, and the carry handle loses much of its paint. The stock shows worn patches with exposed metal. The white camo patches lose contrast and the orange detail fades in the worn zones. The centre of the receiver keeps the clearest part of the pattern.

Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45

The whole float range of Souvenir M4A4 | Global Offensive is 0–0.7; Well-Worn takes the 0.38–0.45 segment (10% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

Souvenir M4A4 | Global Offensive belongs to The Control Collection, which holds 19 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

What it costs in each quality

Among 9 skins of the M4A4 in the Mil-Spec Grade grade and this quality, this skin is the dearest.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Stickers in orange, gold or yellow pick up the veins of the pattern, while navy, white or grey designs blend into the camouflage. The grey magazine and the flat receiver side are the most readable spots for a single accent sticker.

What to check before buying

  • Check the float position within the wear, since the magazine and handguard edges change noticeably between low and high values.
  • Look at the magazine bottom and stock corners on inspect, as these lose paint first.
  • Souvenir copies come with pre-applied stickers, so check which ones they are and how worn they look.
  • Note any applied stickers or name tag, as they add to the look but not always to resale value.

Who the Well-Worn quality suits

  • Budget buyers who want the design with a used military look.
  • Players who rarely inspect and mostly see the rifle in first person.
  • Conclusion: an inexpensive choice that still shows the camouflage.
