Skin overview

The griffin on this M4A4 is recognisable by its contrast: a white bird head and copper wings against grey metal, with teal details on the magazine. In Field-Tested the image remains readable, while scratches start to appear on the magazine, the wing tips and the handguard edges. From the first-person view the copper and white still carry the design.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The rifle has a dark grey gunmetal base, and the main illustration sits on the receiver and magazine well: a griffin with a white eagle head and brown-copper feathered wings spreading down toward the grip. The magazine continues the artwork with copper framing and teal-green panels, while the pistol grip and lower receiver carry the same warm brown tone.

Scratches become visible on the magazine edges, the handguard rails and the tips of the copper wings, and small grey spots appear on the lower receiver. The white head picks up light scuffs but remains clearly visible. In game the illustration still reads as a whole from the first-person view. The central part of the griffin and the stock surfaces look mostly clean.

Which stickers suit it

Copper, gold, brown and white stickers match the griffin's palette, and teal or green accents echo the magazine panels. Placements on the handguard and the upper receiver keep the central griffin visible.

What to check before buying

• Check the float within the chosen grade, since copies near the cleaner boundary keep noticeably more of the griffin.
• Look at the magazine edges and the wing tips first, because they lose paint before the rest of the illustration.
• Make sure the white griffin head is still bright on worn copies, as it carries most of the design.
• Review any applied stickers and name tag to see whether they cover the griffin on the receiver.
