Souvenir M4A4 | Neo-Noir (Field-Tested)

Skin overview

Neo-Noir is recognisable by its contrast of saturated pink and blue against a mostly monochrome base. In Field-Tested the colour scheme survives well, while scratches start to show along the magazine, the handguard edges and the front of the receiver. The character remains readable, though the finish no longer looks untouched up close.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The receiver carries the central figure: a woman with bright pink hair and blue highlights, drawn with thick black outlines over a gray-and-white background. The handguard is covered in white and pale gray panels with black ink shading, while the barrel and muzzle stay dark with a touch of blue and pink near the front.

Scratches become visible on the magazine, the handguard edges and the front of the receiver. The stock corners begin to show light wear. The face and hair of the character mostly stay intact, so the artwork reads well in first-person view. Up close the worn edges are noticeable against the dark parts of the finish.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The whole float range of Souvenir M4A4 | Neo-Noir is 0–0.9; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (26% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Pink, magenta, cyan and holographic stickers match the palette of the artwork. Black-and-white or monochrome stickers work on the handguard and stock without competing with the portrait. Placements over the central figure on the receiver tend to hide the main part of the design.

What to look at before you buy

• Check where the float sits within the grade, since a cleaner float keeps the receiver portrait and handguard edges in better condition.
• Look at the magazine and the handguard edges on the inspect view, as they lose paint first on this skin.
• On worn grades make sure the character's face on the receiver is not scratched through.
• Check applied stickers and name tag, because they change how the artwork is framed.

Who the Field-Tested quality suits

• Players who look at the rifle mainly in first-person view, where the portrait stays readable.
• Buyers who want the design without paying for the cleanest grades.
• A practical choice for everyday play.
