Show allAllSkin overview
Royal Paladin in Battle-Scarred keeps its basic layout of bronze body and grey ornamented parts, but much of the etching is broken up by wear. Bare metal shows through on the handguard and magazine, giving the rifle a rough, battered character. It is the most affordable way to own the skin and has its own look of a long-used ceremonial weapon.
Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred
The receiver is painted in dark bronze-brown with fine etched detailing across its surface, and the barrel and front sight carry a matching brass-bronze tone. The handguard is silver-grey with a repeating etched diamond pattern along its length.
Heavy wear covers the handguard and magazine, where bare metal shows through and only fragments of the etching remain. The stock and receiver edges are worn down, and the bronze looks patchy. In game the skin reads as rough and battered, with the ornament visible only up close. The overall colour scheme is the main thing still recognisable.
Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.8
The whole float range of Souvenir M4A4 | Royal Paladin is 0–0.8; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.8 segment (44% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
Souvenir M4A4 | Royal Paladin belongs to The Revolver Case Collection, which holds 17 skins.
The source is Revolver Case.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Gold, brass and bronze stickers match the receiver and the ceremonial tone of the etching. Silver, grey or holo stickers placed on the handguard sit well against the grey ornament, while bright saturated colours tend to clash with the restrained palette.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the cleaner end keep noticeably more etching on the handguard and magazine.
- Look at the lower edge of the magazine and the handguard edges on inspect, as these lose paint first.
- Check any applied stickers and a name tag, which can change how well the copy fits your plans.
- Decide whether you need a StatTrak™ or Souvenir version, since both exist for this skin.
Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits
- Buyers looking for the cheapest way into this skin.
- Players who enjoy a battered, heavily used look.
- The entry point for those who care more about owning the skin than about its condition.
