Skin overview

Royal Paladin is recognised by its etched diamond pattern on the handguard and the ornate strip running down the magazine. In Field-Tested the scratches become visible on the edges of the handguard, magazine and stock, yet the engraving still reads clearly at normal distance. The finish starts to look like a used, well-kept service rifle rather than a display piece.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The receiver is painted in dark bronze-brown with fine etched detailing across its surface, and the barrel and front sight carry a matching brass-bronze tone. The handguard is silver-grey with a repeating etched diamond pattern along its length.

Scratches become clearly visible along the handguard edges, the lower part of the magazine and the edges of the stock. The raised areas of the receiver start to lose some bronze, and parts of the etching look softer. In game the pattern is still readable and the colour split stays intact. The central areas of the handguard and magazine keep most of their ornament.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The float of Souvenir M4A4 | Royal Paladin ranges from 0 to 0.8; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 29% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The Revolver Case Collection with 17 skins in total.

It drops from Revolver Case.

Price by quality

Compared with the Field-Tested quality, the others go like this: Minimal Wear — 4.9× dearer. The comparison uses our cheapest listing of each quality; where there is none, the market reference.

Among 8 skins of the M4A4 in the Covert grade and this quality, this skin ranks 3rd by price, counting from the dearest.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Gold, brass and bronze stickers match the receiver and the ceremonial tone of the etching. Silver, grey or holo stickers placed on the handguard sit well against the grey ornament, while bright saturated colours tend to clash with the restrained palette.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the cleaner end keep noticeably more etching on the handguard and magazine.
  • Look at the lower edge of the magazine and the handguard edges on inspect, as these lose paint first.
  • Check any applied stickers and a name tag, which can change how well the copy fits your plans.
  • Decide whether you need a StatTrak™ or Souvenir version, since both exist for this skin.

Who the Field-Tested quality suits

  • Players who want the recognisable bronze and grey look at a lower cost.
  • Those who do not mind visible edge scratches that are hard to notice in a match.
  • A practical choice for regular play.
