Souvenir M4A4 | X-Ray (Minimal Wear)

Skin overview

The X-Ray finish shows the M4A4 as if under a scanner, with pale glowing internals over a cool grey and violet base. Minimal Wear keeps that look almost intact, and the few small marks sit on edges you rarely notice in game. It costs less than Factory New while giving nearly the same picture from the first-person view.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New and Field-Tested. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The whole rifle is painted in a monochrome scan style of grey, muted lavender and cool blue, with lighter glowing areas where internal parts show through. The magazine looks translucent, revealing the stacked cartridges and the spring, and the pistol grip carries a pale glow.

Tiny scuffs may appear on the magazine edges and the tips of the handguard rails. The receiver, stock and grip keep their clean scan pattern. At normal distance the rifle is hard to tell apart from Factory New. Higher-float copies show the marks a little more on the magazine.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15

The float of Souvenir M4A4 | X-Ray ranges from 0 to 0.3; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.07–0.15 — 27% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Souvenir M4A4 | X-Ray belongs to The eSports 2013 Winter Collection, which holds 12 skins.

It drops from eSports 2013 Winter Case (on sale since Jul 9, 2014).

Price by quality

Among 8 skins of the M4A4 in the Covert grade and this quality, this skin ranks 5th by price, counting from the dearest.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Holo and foil stickers in silver, white, blue or violet blend with the scan palette. Placing them on the receiver side keeps the translucent magazine visible. Warm, bright colours tend to break the cold monochrome look.

What to look at before you buy

• Check where the float sits within the grade, since the magazine edges show the difference first.
• Look at the magazine and handguard rails in the inspect view on Field-Tested copies.
• Note any applied stickers and a name tag, as they change how the clean scan look reads.
• Decide between regular, StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions before comparing offers.

Who the Minimal Wear quality suits

• Players who want a near-clean look without paying for Factory New.
• Sticker crafters who accept small marks on the magazine.
• Conclusion: the balanced choice for everyday play.
