Skin overview

Carnivore covers the upper body of the MAC-10 in red with dark veined blotches, a theme the in-game description ties to food preparation. In Field-Tested the hydrographic loses some of its depth and the red turns slightly duller. The pattern is still easy to read, and the finish takes on a used look that suits the boxy gun.

Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The finish covers the upper receiver and the front of the body in red, overlaid with irregular dark maroon and purple veins that form a marbled, meat-like pattern. The barrel stays dark, while the grip, magazine, folded wire stock and trigger guard remain plain grey metal.

The red becomes noticeably less saturated and slight grime settles on the receiver. The top edges and sights show worn spots where the metallic base starts to appear. In game the gun looks used but the veined pattern is clearly readable. The sides of the body still hold most of their colour.

Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.38

The whole float range of Souvenir MAC-10 | Carnivore is 0–1; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (23% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Stickers in red, burgundy or gold blend with the veined red body. Black or white designs give clean contrast on the side of the receiver. Placing them on the flat red panels keeps the grey grip and magazine uncluttered.

What to check before buying

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the lower end of a grade look noticeably cleaner.
• Look at the top edges of the receiver and the sights in the inspect view, because they lose paint first.
• Pay attention to applied stickers and a name tag, as they change how the red body reads.
