Show allAllSkin overview
Poplar Thicket turns the boxy MAC-10 into a camouflaged piece of woodland, with tangled branches across a teal-green body and yellow accents. In Field-Tested the busy pattern hides scuffs well, so the gun still reads as green and bright from a normal viewing distance. Light wear shows mostly on the edges and the muzzle end.
Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.
How the skin looks in Field-Tested
The receiver and upper body are covered in a teal-green base with a dense web of pale green and cream branches running at different angles. Yellow accents mark the front sight area, the charging handle, the trigger area, the grip side panels and the folding wire stock, while the threaded muzzle stays black.
Field-Tested brings visible scuffs along the front of the receiver, the top edges and the muzzle area, with some chipping on the yellow wire stock. The dense branch pattern hides much of this, so the skin still reads as bright and green in game. Small grey spots may start to appear near the edges of the magazine. The central side panels and the grip stay mostly clean.
Field-Tested quality ā float range 0.15ā0.38
The whole float range of Souvenir MAC-10 | Poplar Thicket is 0ā0.68; Field-Tested takes the 0.15ā0.38 segment (34% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
The skinās collection is The Boreal Collection with 29 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none ā such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
What it costs in each quality
Among 7 skins of the MAC-10 in the Mil-Spec Grade grade and this quality, this skin ranks 2nd by price, counting from the dearest.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrakā¢. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Yellow, gold and olive stickers echo the gun's accents and magazine, while green or teal designs blend into the forest pattern. Placing them on the plain side panels of the receiver keeps the branch motif readable.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since a low float in a worn grade can look close to the cleaner grade above it.
- Look at the muzzle end, front corners and yellow wire stock first, as these show wear earliest on this finish.
- Souvenir copies come with pre-applied stickers, so decide whether they suit you before buying.
- Check for any applied stickers or name tag, which change the look but rarely add value on a Mil-Spec skin.
Who the Field-Tested quality suits
- Players who mainly see the gun at normal distance, where the busy pattern hides scuffs.
- Budget buyers who still want the skin to look green and lively.
- Conclusion: a practical everyday choice for this finish.
