Skin overview

Snow Splash turns the boxy MAC-10 into a pale, angular camo piece with grey and black slashes over a light base. In Field-Tested the paint starts to chip at the edges, and the darker metal showing through blends fairly naturally with the dark splashes already in the pattern. For many players this is the grade where the skin looks lived-in without losing its character.

Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.

Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The receiver is covered in a cream-white coat with thin dark grey lines and angular splashes running along its flat sides. The magazine continues the pattern with larger jagged black and grey marks, while the barrel shroud and muzzle stay dark.

Chipping becomes visible along the top and front edges of the receiver, the muzzle area and the lower part of the magazine. Some scuffs reach the flat surfaces, slightly dulling the white base. In game the gun still reads as light with dark camo marks, and the wear looks like part of the pattern. The middle of the receiver sides and the sling stay mostly clean.

Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.38

The whole float range of Souvenir MAC-10 | Snow Splash is 0–0.6; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (38% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Achroma Collection with 20 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Black, white, grey and silver stickers match the grayscale pattern and keep the winter camo look intact. A single colour accent such as red or ice blue on the receiver side can work well against the pale base. Placements on the flat side of the receiver are the most visible.
