Show allAllSkin overview
BI83 Spectrum pairs a near-black base with bismuth-like violet and teal reflections and a terraced block pattern. Its float range stops short of the heaviest wear, so even Battle-Scarred keeps a good share of the coloured sheen across the receiver. Expect clear scratching on edges and the muzzle area, and a cheaper route to owning the skin.
Item type: shotgun. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.
Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred
The receiver carries a dark base with an iridescent sheen of purple, teal, blue and green, laid out as stepped rectangular panels and lines that echo bismuth crystal growth. The barrel shroud and muzzle are dark with blue and violet tints catching the light near the front.
Scratching is heavy on the muzzle, the receiver edges, the panel corners and the magazine. The sheen is broken up on raised areas, while the capped float range leaves a fair part of the coloured coat on flat surfaces. In game it reads as a worn dark shotgun with flashes of colour. The central receiver panels stay the most legible part.
Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–0.6
The float of Souvenir MAG-7 | BI83 Spectrum ranges from 0 to 0.6; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–0.6 — 25% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
Souvenir MAG-7 | BI83 Spectrum belongs to The Operation Riptide Collection, which holds 17 skins.
It drops from Operation Riptide Case.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Holographic and foil stickers in purple, teal or green pick up the bismuth sheen well. Placed along the flat sides of the receiver they continue the colour shift instead of breaking it. Plain matte stickers in warm colours tend to look out of place.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since a low float in Field-Tested looks close to Minimal Wear.
- Inspect the muzzle and the top edges of the receiver, as these lose colour first.
- Look at the magazine edges and panel corners on worn copies to judge how much sheen remains.
- Check applied stickers and any name tag, because dark or busy stickers can clash with the iridescent body.
Who should buy Battle-Scarred
- Budget entry for CT players who want the skin in their loadout.
- Fans of a rough look, helped by a float range that keeps some colour.
- The cheapest way to own BI83 Spectrum with its character intact.
