The skin's identity is the bismuth look: a near-black base that flashes violet, blue and green, broken into blocky, terraced panels. At Minimal Wear any marks are tiny and sit on edges you rarely study in a match, so the iridescence reads the same as on a fresh copy. It is a sensible way to get the full effect without paying for the cleanest grade.
Item type: shotgun. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.
Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
How the skin looks in Minimal Wear
The receiver carries a dark base with an iridescent sheen of purple, teal, blue and green, laid out as stepped rectangular panels and lines that echo bismuth crystal growth. The barrel shroud and muzzle are dark with blue and violet tints catching the light near the front.
Small specks may appear on the muzzle tip and the sharpest top edges of the receiver. The stepped panels and the coloured sheen on the body stay intact. In game the difference from Factory New is practically invisible. The grip, magazine and barrel shroud look clean.
Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15
The float of Souvenir MAG-7 | BI83 Spectrum ranges from 0 to 0.6; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.07–0.15 — 13% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
The skin’s collection is The Operation Riptide Collection with 17 skins in total.
The source is Operation Riptide Case.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Holographic and foil stickers in purple, teal or green pick up the bismuth sheen well. Placed along the flat sides of the receiver they continue the colour shift instead of breaking it. Plain matte stickers in warm colours tend to look out of place.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since a low float in Field-Tested looks close to Minimal Wear.
- Inspect the muzzle and the top edges of the receiver, as these lose colour first.
- Look at the magazine edges and panel corners on worn copies to judge how much sheen remains.
- Check applied stickers and any name tag, because dark or busy stickers can clash with the iridescent body.
Who should buy Minimal Wear
- CT players who want a near-perfect look in game.
- Buyers who prefer to save versus Factory New without a visible trade-off.
- The most balanced pick for looks and value.
