Show allAllSkin overview
Chainmail gives the MAG-7 a dark, textured armour look built from a ring pattern over silver. The float range of this skin ends early in Field-Tested, so this grade shows only modest scuffing rather than heavy damage. It is the easiest way to get the full chainmail texture on the gun while accepting a slightly used surface.
Item type: shotgun. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.
Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.
Appearance in Field-Tested
The receiver is covered in a dense chainmail texture in grey and olive tones, with the silver base coat showing through the semi-transparent layer. The pattern is most legible on the magazine grip, where the silver ring links stand out against the darker background.
Scuffs become visible along the receiver edges, the top rail and the raised parts near the muzzle, where the lighter base starts to show. The chainmail texture on the flat sides of the body and on the grip stays mostly intact. At normal distance the gun still reads as textured armour with a slightly worn look. Because the range ends early in this grade, heavy damage does not occur.
Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.22
The float of Souvenir MAG-7 | Chainmail ranges from 0 to 0.22; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.22 — 32% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
The skin’s collection is The Norse Collection with 18 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Price by quality
Taking Field-Tested as the baseline:
- Factory New — 21% dearer
- Minimal Wear — 1% cheaper
Based on the cheapest SkinOut.gg listing of each quality, otherwise on the market reference.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Gold, brass and silver stickers echo the metal accents and the chainmail base. Muted olive, black or dark green designs blend with the receiver, while a single gold sticker on the side of the body gives a clean focal point.
What to check before buying
- Compare the float within the wear range, since copies near the clean end look noticeably crisper on the edges.
- Look at the receiver edges and top rail on screenshots, as these lose the pattern first.
- For Souvenir copies, check which stickers are applied and whether they suit the grey-olive colouring.
- Check for a name tag if you prefer the original item name.
Who should buy Field-Tested
- Budget buyers who want the full chainmail pattern on their MAG-7.
- Players who do not mind light scuffs on the edges.
- An inexpensive entry with only moderate visible wear.
