Skin overview

This is the most worn version of the hazard-striped MAG-7, where heavy scratches cut through the yellow and dark paint. Battle-Scarred gives the design a rough, abandoned-site look that some players prefer to the clean finish. It is the cheapest way to get the pattern while keeping the warning-stripe idea.

Item type: shotgun. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The whole shotgun is sprayed with wide diagonal stripes alternating between bright yellow and dark graphite, running at the same angle across the receiver, the front grip and the magazine. The barrel shroud and top rail carry the same banding, while the muzzle stays dark metal with yellow paint at its base.

Heavy scratches cover the whole body, and the muzzle, edges, grip and magazine are worn down to metal. The yellow bands are broken into patches, and the stripe borders blur. In game the gun reads as dirty yellow and dark metal rather than crisp stripes. The pattern is still recognisable, but none of the parts look clean.

Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–0.8

The whole float range of Souvenir MAG-7 | Hazard is 0.06–0.8; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.8 segment (47% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Alpha Collection with 16 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

What it costs in each quality

Among 3 skins of the MAG-7 in the Mil-Spec Grade grade and this quality, this skin is the dearest.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Black, yellow and metallic stickers blend with the warning-stripe theme, while a single red or white sticker adds a clear accent. Placing them on the dark stripes of the receiver keeps them readable without breaking the diagonal rhythm.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check the float position within the grade, since the paint on the muzzle and receiver edges goes first and differs noticeably between low and high copies.
  • Inspect the front grip and magazine base, where scuffs on the yellow stand out the most.
  • Note whether the copy is a Souvenir, as it comes with stickers already applied that cannot be swapped for others.
  • Look at any applied stickers and name tag, as they change how the striped body reads.

Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits

  • Budget buyers looking for the lowest entry into the skin.
  • Players who prefer a rough, heavily scratched style.
  • Conclusion: the entry grade for those who value character over cleanliness.
