Skin overview

This MAG-7 finish imitates metal heated until it glows, with charcoal panels framed in orange light. In Well-Worn the outlines start to break up and grey metal shows through on edges and flat surfaces. The colour scheme is still recognisable, and the scratches can pass for the marks of a well-used forged tool.

Item type: shotgun. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Well-Worn

The whole MAG-7 is painted in a hot orange-red tone with bright yellow-orange outlines running along every edge and seam, so the weapon looks heated from within. The receiver carries dark charcoal panels with cut-out shapes, each framed by the glowing lines.

Grey metal shows through in larger patches along the receiver edges, the barrel shroud, the foregrip and the magazine. The glowing outlines are interrupted in several places and the dark panels lose their crisp borders. In game the weapon still reads as orange and fiery, but the surface looks visibly used.

Well-Worn quality — float range 0.38–0.45

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Stickers in orange, red, gold or black blend with the forge palette, and holo or foil stickers echo the glowing edges. Placing them on the dark receiver panels keeps the outlines visible, while bright blue or green stickers will stand out as a deliberate contrast.

What to look at before you buy

• Look at the float position within the wear grade, since a low float keeps the outlines noticeably cleaner.
• Inspect the muzzle, the top edge of the receiver and the bottom of the magazine, where the paint wears first.
• Check whether the glowing outlines on the receiver panels are continuous, as broken lines change the look the most.
• Note any stickers or name tag already applied and whether you want a StatTrak™ or Souvenir copy.
