Skin overview

This MAG-7 skin shows a deep-sea scene in blue, purple and green, with a sea monster's open mouth on the front grip as its most recognisable detail. In Field-Tested the creatures and colours remain clearly visible, while the outer edges begin to show lighter scuffs. The dark base helps the finish keep its mood even with some wear.

Item type: shotgun. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The base of the whole weapon is a dark navy blue scattered with small light specks that look like plankton or bubbles. The front grip is painted as a purple sea monster with a green eye and a wide open jaw lined with white teeth that curls around the grip.

Wear becomes visible on the muzzle, the outer edge of the front grip and the bottom of the magazine, where lighter patches cut into the paint. The edges of the monster's jaw may lose some teeth detail, while the green fish on the receiver stays mostly clean. At normal distance the scene still reads clearly, and the scuffs show mainly in inspect. Higher floats in this grade show noticeably more marks than lower ones.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The whole float range of Souvenir MAG-7 | Monster Call is 0–1; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (23% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Fracture Collection with 17 skins in total.

The source is Fracture Case.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Stickers in green, teal, purple or orange echo the creatures and glows of the artwork, while holo and foil stickers suit the deep-sea theme. Placing them on the receiver near the green fish keeps the monster's jaw on the front grip uncovered.

What to check before buying

  • Inspect the front grip first, because the monster's jaw and teeth sit on the parts that wear earliest.
  • Check where the float sits within the grade, as low and high floats in the middle grades look noticeably different.
  • Look at the muzzle and the bottom of the magazine for scuffs that stand out against the dark base.
  • Check stickers and a name tag on the copy, since they change the look and may not suit your plans.

Who the Field-Tested quality suits

  • Players who use the MAG-7 on CT side and want a recognisable skin at a reasonable cost.
  • Buyers who pick a low float in this grade to get a cleaner look.
  • A practical middle ground where the scene still reads clearly.
