Skin overview

Nitro in Battle-Scarred is the most weathered take on the black and tangerine spray paint. The orange is heavily chipped on the grip, stock and receiver strip, and the dark parts lose their even surface. The colour accents still come through, but the overall impression is of a heavily used weapon.

Item type: smg. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.

Solid Color: a single colour without a pattern; wear dulls it evenly and rubs it off along the edges.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The integrated suppressor, barrel and magazine are dark grey to black, with the ribbed section of the suppressor keeping its texture. A tangerine orange strip runs along the upper side of the receiver, while the pistol grip, trigger guard area and stock butt pad are painted solid orange.

The orange is heavily chipped across the grip, stock pad and receiver strip, with large areas of darker base showing through. The dark parts are scratched over most of their surface, including the suppressor and magazine. In game the weapon reads as worn, though the black-and-orange split is still recognisable. Only recessed spots keep the paint relatively intact.

Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.8

The whole float range of Souvenir MP5-SD | Nitro is 0.06–0.8; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.8 segment (47% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

Souvenir MP5-SD | Nitro belongs to The Control Collection, which holds 19 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

What it costs in each quality

Among 4 skins of the MP5-SD in the Industrial Grade grade and this quality, this skin is the dearest.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Black, orange and white stickers match the two-tone scheme without competing with it. Placements on the dark receiver or suppressor let the orange parts stay the main accent, while a single orange sticker can echo the receiver strip.

What to check before buying

  • Check the float position within the grade, since the edges of the orange grip and stock pad show wear earliest.
  • Look at the receiver strip in the inspect view, because chips there break the line that defines the skin.
  • Souvenir copies exist, so check whether the item carries stickers and whether they suit your plans.
  • Pattern does not matter for this solid colour finish, so compare copies by float and applied stickers or name tag.

Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits

  • Budget entry for anyone who wants the skin at the lowest grade.
  • Players who like a heavily weathered weapon with bright colour remnants.
  • Conclusion: the most worn look of Nitro, chosen for style or savings.
