Skin overview

In Battle-Scarred much of the dark finish is gone and bare metal dominates the edges, rails and magazine. The metallic line work survives only in fragments, which gives the weapon a rough, almost unpainted character. This is the grade for those who value a heavily worn look or simply want the skin at the lowest entry point.

Item type: smg. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The receiver carries a dark grey, gunmetal-like base with a slight cool tint, crossed by thin light metallic lines that curve into arcs and small circles. The same line work continues onto the magazine and the front vertical grip, tying the parts into one pattern.

Large areas of bare metal cover the rail, sights, muzzle, grip and magazine, and the receiver shows heavy scratching. Only fragments of the line pattern remain. In game the weapon looks rough and faded, with the dark base surviving mostly in recesses. Little of the original clean finish is left.

Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–1

The float of Souvenir MP7 | Astrolabe ranges from 0 to 1; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–1 — 55% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

Souvenir MP7 | Astrolabe belongs to The Graphic Design Collection, which holds 16 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Price by quality

Among 8 skins of the MP7 in the Industrial Grade grade and this quality, this skin ranks 2nd by price, counting from the dearest.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Silver, holo or grey stickers match the metallic line work and keep the look restrained. A single accent sticker in cool blue on the receiver can echo the slight tint of the base without breaking the calm scheme.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since low floats in worn grades keep noticeably more of the line pattern.
  • Look at the top rail, sights and magazine bottom, as these parts lose paint first.
  • For Souvenir copies, check which stickers are applied and whether they fit your taste.
  • Review any stickers or name tag on a regular copy before buying, as they change how the muted design looks.

Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits

  • Players who prefer a rough, heavily worn MP7.
  • Budget entry for anyone who wants the skin in the inventory.
  • Pick it for character or price, not for the pattern.
