Skin overview

This wear keeps the dark gunmetal finish and the fine metallic arcs almost unchanged, with only slight marks on the sharpest edges. For a skin this understated, the gap to Factory New is hard to spot in game. It is the practical choice if you want a clean-looking Astrolabe without paying for the top grade.

Item type: smg. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The receiver carries a dark grey, gunmetal-like base with a slight cool tint, crossed by thin light metallic lines that curve into arcs and small circles. The same line work continues onto the magazine and the front vertical grip, tying the parts into one pattern.

Tiny light marks may appear on the very tips of the sights and the muzzle. The receiver, magazine and grip surfaces remain clean, and the line pattern is intact. At normal distance in game it is practically indistinguishable from Factory New. Most of the weapon still looks untouched.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15

The float of Souvenir MP7 | Astrolabe ranges from 0 to 1; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.07–0.15 — 8% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

Souvenir MP7 | Astrolabe belongs to The Graphic Design Collection, which holds 16 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Silver, holo or grey stickers match the metallic line work and keep the look restrained. A single accent sticker in cool blue on the receiver can echo the slight tint of the base without breaking the calm scheme.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since low floats in worn grades keep noticeably more of the line pattern.
  • Look at the top rail, sights and magazine bottom, as these parts lose paint first.
  • For Souvenir copies, check which stickers are applied and whether they fit your taste.
  • Review any stickers or name tag on a regular copy before buying, as they change how the muted design looks.

Who the Minimal Wear quality suits

  • Players who want a clean-looking MP7 without paying for the top grade.
  • Crafters who accept tiny edge marks that are invisible in game.
  • A sensible balance of look and cost.
