Skin overview

Olive Plaid relies on soft earthy colours and a repeating diagonal check rather than bright contrast. In Field-Tested the plaid is still clearly recognisable, while scuffs start to appear along the top rail, the muzzle end and the magazine edges. The worn spots blend into the beige and olive tones, so the gun keeps a tidy, practical look.

Item type: smg. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The receiver, upper rail and stock are covered in a beige base crossed by wide diagonal olive bands that form a plaid, with fine hatched lines giving the surface a fabric-like texture. The front vertical grip and the pistol grip carry the same print in darker olive and brown tones, while the magazine is a plain olive green.

Scuffs become visible along the top rail, around the muzzle, on the magazine edges and on the rear corner of the stock. The hatching starts to fade in places, though the diagonal check is still easy to follow. In game the wear blends into the beige and olive, so the gun reads as lightly used rather than damaged. The central receiver panel and the sides of the stock keep most of the print.

Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.38

The whole float range of Souvenir MP7 | Olive Plaid is 0–0.58; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (40% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

Souvenir MP7 | Olive Plaid belongs to The Baggage Collection, which holds 15 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

What it costs in each quality

Taking Field-Tested as the baseline, Factory New — 60× dearer. Based on the cheapest SkinOut.gg listing of each quality, otherwise on the market reference.

Among 9 skins of the MP7 in the Consumer Grade grade and this quality, this skin ranks 3rd by price, counting from the dearest.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Stickers in olive, brown, tan or muted gold sit naturally on the beige plaid and keep the military look. Placing them on the flat side of the receiver or the stock keeps the plaid visible around them. A single dark or black-and-white sticker can add contrast without fighting the earthy palette.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since a lower value keeps the rail and muzzle edges cleaner.
  • Look at the top rail, muzzle end and magazine base, as these are the first places where grey metal shows.
  • On Souvenir copies, look at which stickers come applied, because they change the look of the plain finish.
  • Check for stickers or a name tag added by a previous owner and decide whether they fit your plans.

Who the Field-Tested quality suits

  • Players who want a tidy MP7 for everyday matches.
  • Owners who like the earthy colours and do not mind light scuffs.
  • A practical middle option that still shows the plaid well.
