Skin overview

Arctic Tri-Tone reads as a light, winter-themed MP9 with a dark stripe through the middle and bright orange touches. In Field-Tested the white paint starts to show chips on edges and raised parts, which adds a used, practical character. The blue band and camouflage spots are still easy to recognise.

Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The upper receiver and handguard are painted a pale cream, with a dark navy band running along the lower part of the receiver from the muzzle to the rear. White and grey camouflage patches are scattered over this band, tying it to the light panels above.

Chips become visible on the top rail, the front of the receiver and the edges of the stock, and light scuffs appear on the grip ribbing. The white looks slightly dulled where the paint has worn. In game the scheme still reads clearly, with the wear noticeable mainly on the upper edges. The blue band and the orange details remain largely clean.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The whole float range of Souvenir MP9 | Arctic Tri-Tone is 0–0.6; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (38% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Sport & Field Collection with 16 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

What it costs in each quality

Compared with the Field-Tested quality, the others go like this:

Based on the cheapest SkinOut.gg listing of each quality, otherwise on the market reference.

By price this skin is 3rd of 6 skins Restricted MP9 in this quality (the first being the dearest).

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Stickers in white, navy, grey or ice blue blend with the scheme, while a single orange or holographic accent echoes the small orange details. The light cream receiver above the blue band is the most visible spot for a placement.

What to check before buying

  • Look at the float position within the grade, since a low float keeps the white surfaces noticeably cleaner.
  • Inspect the top rail, muzzle end and stock edges, where chipping on the light paint shows first.
  • Check the grips, because the ribbed white areas pick up scuffs early.
  • Make sure applied stickers or a name tag fit the white-and-blue scheme you want.

Who should buy Field-Tested

  • Players who like a light MP9 with a slightly used character.
  • Buyers looking for a recognisable scheme at a moderate cost.
  • Conclusion: a practical everyday option.
