Skin overview

The skin pairs a dark olive base with lighter green stains and acid-yellow edges spread over the receiver and both grips. In Minimal Wear the spill pattern looks practically untouched from the player's view, and only close inspection reveals faint marks on the sharpest edges. It is a sensible choice for those who want a clean look without paying for the top grade.

Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The receiver, top rail, front grip and pistol grip are covered in a dark olive base with darker green blotches and lighter green stains, each edged in bright lime-yellow. The pattern runs continuously over the grip ribs and the side ridges of the receiver, which gives the gun a wet, mottled look.

Small scratches can appear on the sharpest edges, such as the front of the receiver and the tips of the grip ribs. They are hard to spot without zooming in. At normal distance the skin looks the same as Factory New. The colours and outlines stay sharp across the body.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15

The whole float range of Souvenir MP9 | Bioleak is 0–0.5; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (16% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Stickers in green, yellow or black blend with the spill pattern, while holographic or foil ones in similar tones add shine without breaking the theme. Hazard-style or toxic-themed artwork placed on the receiver side fits the chemical-leak idea well.

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the cleaner end of a grade keep the edges noticeably fresher.
• Look at the front edges of the receiver and the ribs of both grips, as these show wear first.
• The pattern is a random spread of blotches, so compare inspect screenshots if you care how the spots fall on the receiver side.
• Note any applied stickers or name tag, since they change the look of the gun.
