Skin overview

This MP9 finish imitates a toxic leak with shades of green outlined in bright lime. In Well-Worn the paint has thinned noticeably on raised parts, and grey metal shows through along the top of the receiver and on the grips. From a distance the green spill still dominates, so the skin keeps its theme at a lower cost.

Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Well-Worn

The receiver, top rail, front grip and pistol grip are covered in a dark olive base with darker green blotches and lighter green stains, each edged in bright lime-yellow. The pattern runs continuously over the grip ribs and the side ridges of the receiver, which gives the gun a wet, mottled look.

The scuffs on the receiver edges, top rail and grips grow larger and start to merge. Bare metal shows near the muzzle and on the pistol grip, and the bright outlines fade in these zones. In game the gun looks noticeably weathered up close but still clearly green. The centre of the receiver sides keeps most of its pattern.

Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45

The whole float range of Souvenir MP9 | Bioleak is 0–0.5; Well-Worn takes the 0.38–0.45 segment (14% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Stickers in green, yellow or black blend with the spill pattern, while holographic or foil ones in similar tones add shine without breaking the theme. Hazard-style or toxic-themed artwork placed on the receiver side fits the chemical-leak idea well.

What to check before buying

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the cleaner end of a grade keep the edges noticeably fresher.
• Look at the front edges of the receiver and the ribs of both grips, as these show wear first.
• The pattern is a random spread of blotches, so compare inspect screenshots if you care how the spots fall on the receiver side.
• Note any applied stickers or name tag, since they change the look of the gun.
