Skin overview

Battle-Scarred Capillary keeps the dark base and the coral and teal colour accents, but much of the fine vein work is scratched through. The magazine and the front of the weapon carry the heaviest damage, while the general palette remains. It is the most affordable way to run the skin for those who like a heavily used look.

Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The receiver and upper body are finished in dark charcoal with a ribbed texture, crossed by thin teal and coral veins that branch and curl along the side. The same vein lines run down the pistol grip and the front vertical grip, which stay mostly dark.

Heavy scratches cover the magazine, muzzle and receiver edges, and a large share of the vein pattern is worn through. The grips and stock also show clear wear. At normal distance the weapon reads mainly as a dark body with faded coral and teal accents. Little of the fine linework stays clean.

Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–0.7

The whole float range of Souvenir MP9 | Capillary is 0–0.7; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.7 segment (36% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Stickers in teal, coral or dark tones blend well with the dark body and the vein lines. Placements on the flat side of the receiver work best when they do not cover the densest part of the vein pattern.

• Check the float position within the wear range, since lower floats keep the thin vein lines more intact.
• Look at the coral magazine and the muzzle in the inspect view, as they wear first.
• Make sure the vein pattern on the receiver side is not broken on Field-Tested and more worn copies.
• Check applied stickers and the name tag, as they change the look of this busy linework.
