Skin overview

Capillary is recognisable by its contrast of dark gunmetal and fine glowing-looking veins in teal and coral. In Field-Tested the vein pattern is still readable, while the coral magazine and the raised edges start to show scuffs. The overall colour scheme survives well, so the skin keeps its character at a lower cost.

Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The receiver and upper body are finished in dark charcoal with a ribbed texture, crossed by thin teal and coral veins that branch and curl along the side. The same vein lines run down the pistol grip and the front vertical grip, which stay mostly dark.

Wear spreads along the magazine edges, the muzzle and the top edges of the receiver, with some coral paint gone. The vein lines may show small gaps where they cross raised parts. At normal distance the pattern and colour scheme are still clearly readable. The flat sides of the body and the grips stay mostly clean.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The float of Souvenir MP9 | Capillary ranges from 0 to 0.7; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 33% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Stickers in teal, coral or dark tones blend well with the dark body and the vein lines. Placements on the flat side of the receiver work best when they do not cover the densest part of the vein pattern.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check the float position within the wear range, since lower floats keep the thin vein lines more intact.
  • Look at the coral magazine and the muzzle in the inspect view, as they wear first.
  • Make sure the vein pattern on the receiver side is not broken on Field-Tested and more worn copies.
  • Check applied stickers and the name tag, as they change the look of this busy linework.

Who the Field-Tested quality suits

  • Players who want the recognisable colour scheme at a lower cost.
  • Buyers who do not mind scuffs on the magazine and muzzle.
  • A practical everyday option that keeps the skin's character.
