Show allAllSkin overview
Cobalt Paisley in Battle-Scarred keeps its blue colour scheme, but the paisley print is heavily scuffed and thinned across the body and grips. Because the frame parts are a plain dark finish, the gun never looks patchy in an unpleasant way, only weathered. It is the most affordable way to run the skin on a counter-terrorist loadout.
Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.
How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred
The hydrographic print covers the sides of the receiver, the trigger area, the vertical foregrip and the pistol grip with a dense paisley pattern in cobalt, light blue and navy with fine white specks. The top rail, barrel shroud, muzzle, folding stock and magazine are left in a plain dark slate tone that frames the print.
The print is heavily scuffed across the receiver and both grips, with the ribs almost bare in places. Only the central parts of the side panels keep a clear stretch of pattern. In game the weapon still reads as blue, but the paisley detail is mostly lost to wear.
Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.65
The float of Souvenir MP9 | Cobalt Paisley ranges from 0 to 0.65; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–0.65 — 31% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
Souvenir MP9 | Cobalt Paisley belongs to The Ascent Collection, which holds 28 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Blue, silver and white stickers blend with the cobalt print, while gold or orange accents give a sharp contrast. The plain dark receiver top and magazine area are the cleanest spots for stickers, as the busy pattern on the sides can swallow small designs.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the cleaner end of a grade keep more of the print on the grips.
- Inspect the grip ribs and receiver edges, as these parts lose the pattern first.
- Souvenir copies come with pre-applied stickers that cannot be changed, so look at them before buying.
- Look at any stickers and name tag already applied to make sure they fit your loadout.
Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits
- Players looking for the lowest-cost entry to this skin.
- Those who prefer a rough, weathered look on a counter-terrorist SMG.
- Conclusion: the budget pick that keeps the blue identity.
