Skin overview

This MP9 is defined by its blue paisley motif, and in Well-Worn the motif is broken up by patches where the dark base shows through. The receiver edges and grip ribs look clearly rubbed, while the flatter side panels still carry a recognisable pattern. The result reads as an old, faded textile rather than a fresh print.

Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Well-Worn

The hydrographic print covers the sides of the receiver, the trigger area, the vertical foregrip and the pistol grip with a dense paisley pattern in cobalt, light blue and navy with fine white specks. The top rail, barrel shroud, muzzle, folding stock and magazine are left in a plain dark slate tone that frames the print.

Grip ribs and receiver edges lose much of the print, and worn patches begin to spread onto the side panels. The pattern looks faded and broken in places. From the player's view the gun reads as blue with a dark worn texture, and the frame parts look dull.

Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45

The whole float range of Souvenir MP9 | Cobalt Paisley is 0–0.65; Well-Worn takes the 0.38–0.45 segment (11% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Ascent Collection with 28 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

What it costs in each quality

Among 4 skins of the MP9 in the Mil-Spec Grade grade and this quality, this skin is the dearest.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Blue, silver and white stickers blend with the cobalt print, while gold or orange accents give a sharp contrast. The plain dark receiver top and magazine area are the cleanest spots for stickers, as the busy pattern on the sides can swallow small designs.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the cleaner end of a grade keep more of the print on the grips.
  • Inspect the grip ribs and receiver edges, as these parts lose the pattern first.
  • Souvenir copies come with pre-applied stickers that cannot be changed, so look at them before buying.
  • Look at any stickers and name tag already applied to make sure they fit your loadout.

Who should buy Well-Worn

  • Budget players who want the colour scheme rather than fine detail.
  • Fans of a faded, old-fabric look.
  • Conclusion: a cheap way to get the blue style with visible character.
