Souvenir MP9 | Dune Asp (Field-Tested)

Skin overview

This MP9 finish pairs a tan base with white brush strokes that trace a coiled snake. In Field-Tested condition the strokes begin to thin on the grips and magazine, giving the paint a weathered, sun-bleached feel that fits the desert theme. The overall pattern is still easy to recognise in hand.

Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The whole MP9 is painted in a tan base with white, brush-like strokes and thinner brown lines that wind across the receiver and form the body of a snake. The pattern continues over the vertical foregrip, the pistol grip and the long magazine, where the strokes run in looser curved bands.

Wear spreads along the edges of both grips, the bottom of the magazine and the end of the stock, where patches of tan and white paint start to fade. Some fine scratches reach the raised edges of the receiver. In game the gun still reads as tan with pale strokes, just slightly duller. The centre of the receiver keeps the snake clearly visible.

Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.38

The float of Souvenir MP9 | Dune Asp ranges from 0 to 1; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 23% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The Arabesque Collection with 17 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Price by quality

Among 3 skins of the MP9 in the Industrial Grade grade and this quality, this skin is the most affordable.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Stickers in sand, brown, cream or muted gold tones blend with the desert palette, while a single black or dark brown sticker echoes the rail and muzzle. Placing them on the flat side of the receiver behind the snake's strokes keeps the main artwork readable.

What to check before buying

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since a low float in a grade keeps more of the white strokes on the grips and magazine.
• Look at the bottom of the magazine and the ribbed grips first, as these lose paint before the receiver does.
• See how much of the snake is visible on the receiver side in the inspect view, because pattern placement shifts the strokes across the body.
• Check any applied stickers and name tag, as they change how the sand palette reads.

Who should buy Field-Tested

• Budget-minded players who want the snake motif clearly visible.
• Fans of a faded, sun-bleached look that suits the desert theme.
• A balanced grade where the artwork still reads well and wear adds character.
